Fireworks Over the Washington Monument
The National Mall Independence Day Fireworks display began promptly at 9:07 pm on July 4th 2023. The fireworks were set off from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. As always, they delivered a spectacular, breathtaking view for those on the mall and many other locations surrounding the Nation's Capital. According to federal records, the big fireworks show put on by the National Park Service cost taxpayers nearly $270K.
