World Culture Festival Performers

Traditional Dances and Melodies of Nepal

Dancers in vibrant costumes, representing the spiritual traditions of Nepal mesmerized the attendees at the 2023 World Culture Festival in Washington, DC. These dances are performed according to classical music and Nepal folk dances are based on the flock songs and music, which means that these dances belong to a particular group or area. These dances are performed according to folk music.

Dancers from other diverse cultural backgrounds also performed traditional and contemporary dances. These included classical Indian dance forms, ballet, contemporary dance, and folk dances from different regions.
